Configuring Sharing Rights

To configure the default sharing rights for all users in the deployment, edit the Everyone user group. To configure sharing rights for individual user groups, assign sharing rights to the individual user groups as needed.

Note:

Sharing rights configured for other user groups override rights configured for the Everyone user group.

To configure sharing rights:

In the User Groups administration view, click the user group you want to edit.
Locate the Sharing Rights section.
If you are configuring a user group other than the Everyone group, select Enforce sharing rights.

Select one of the following for each available sharing right. For information about sharing rights, see Available Sharing Rights.


Setting	Description
Yes	Users can exercise the specified right, unless they belong to another user group where this setting is Never.
No	Users cannot exercise the specified right, unless they belong to another user group (other than Everyone) where this setting is Yes.
Never	Users can never exercise this right, regardless of their membership to other user groups. This setting is not available for the Everyone user group.
