Locking and Unlocking User Accounts
Site Administrators and User Administrators can lock or unlock user accounts. Locking a user account prevents the user from signing in.
Note:
If you want to lock a ShareBase user who authenticates through single sign-on (SSO), you must also either disable or remove the corresponding user in your user management system (for example, in Active Directory).
To lock a user account:
-
In ShareBase Administration, click Users.
The Users view is displayed.
- Select the user account you want to lock.
-
Under User Settings, click Lock Account.
The Revoke Links dialog box is displayed.
-
Choose whether you want to revoke all shared links created by the user.
-
To revoke all shared links created by the user, click Revoke.
-
To retain all shared links created by the user, click Skip.
A confirmation message indicates the user account is now locked.
