Enabling the IP Address Whitelist

You can enable the IP address whitelist in ShareBase Administration.

Note:

Once the whitelist is enabled, it takes immediate effect. If the whitelist is enabled while a user is logged in to ShareBase from an untrusted IP address, the user is logged out automatically.

To enable the IP address whitelist:

  1. In ShareBase Administration, click Details.
    The Deployment Details page is displayed.
  2. Select Enable IP Address Whitelisting. The first time you select this setting, the Add to Whitelist dialog box is displayed.
  3. In the field provided, type or paste a list of IP addresses and ranges to include in the whitelist.
  4. Click Save.
