Preventing the Creation of Duplicate User Accounts
To prevent the creation of duplicate user accounts, make sure existing users log on to ShareBase using the email addresses configured for them in the external system. If necessary, change the email address configured for the user in either ShareBase or the external system.
If a user is not mapped successfully on initial implementation, then a second ShareBase account is created for the user when the user logs in to ShareBase. In this case, the user's original ShareBase account must be deleted, and the content associated with the original account must be transferred to the new account.
