Resolving Duplicate Accounts

If an existing ShareBase user logs in using an external provider, but the user's external email address does not match the user's email address in ShareBase, then a new ShareBase account is created for the user.

To mitigate this type of conflict, you can delete the user's original ShareBase account. When deleting the account, transfer ownership of the account's existing content to the user's new ShareBase account.

Note:

Completing these steps will remove any existing shares associated with the personal library of the user's original ShareBase account. The user will need to re-share contents from his or her personal library as needed.
